Cashier
Chuck Levin's is seeking a detail-oriented and friendly individual to fill a Cashier role on the Customer Service. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and an outstanding shopping experience at the beginning and end of their time in the store.
In this role, you will work closely with various members of our team to manage several tasks, including but not limited to customer support, order processing, inventory management, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should be a versatile team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to multitask efficiently, be proactive, and have a positive attitude towards work.
This is a full-time position with weekday and Saturday availability required. Typical hours are 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. All full-time employees are entitled to competitive benefits like health insurance, dental, life, 401(k), paid time off, and employee discount pricing. Compensation is $17.15/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashier Duties: Process transactions accurately and ensure a smooth checkout experience for every customer.
- Phone Support: Serve as the first point of contact for customers over the phone, providing friendly and efficient assistance, resolving inquiries, and directing calls as necessary.
- Shipping and Handling: Occasionally bolster of our Customer Service team by creating and managing shipping labels, overseeing packaging, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of orders, maintaining a seamless logistics flow.
Requirements:
- Weekday and Saturday availability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and various software/apps relevant to the tasks.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer service, administrative roles, or related fields is preferred.
